There's Something About Stationery

I have a bit of a passion for stationery. A trip to Paperchase or Staples is full of delight and things I didn't even know I needed.

I'm feeling a tad overwhelmed by a project assignment at the moment.  There seems so much to do. Where do I start? How do I fit in working full time with studying and having a life?

Thankfully, though, stationery is a salvation: just spending 10 minutes sorting out all my notes and reading material into a folder makes me feel a lot more organised.

Not just any old stationery will do, either - it has to be right. Pretty stationery makes me feel extra-organised. Surely, with a new purple folder, pink notebook and flowery pen as armour, I can't possibly fail?

(Yes, not procrastinating by writing this blog would no doubt help me, but it's warming up my brain, honest).

However, behind my penchant for pens lurks the spectre of Pauline from the League of Gentlemen. Fact Fans: Pauline's job club was totally ripped off by the Fat Club sketch in Little Britain. "Pens, friends, friends, pens," says Pauline. I'm glad I don't live in Royston Vasey.

The brain is now suitably warmed up: back to the study....thanks for reading!
